The founding team of the Easy To group
Composting is a craft before it is a machine. Our job is to turn your food waste into a resource on your own site, asking as little as possible of your teams. The composter is the tool, not the point.
Across our markets, separating food waste at source is now the direction of travel, but the date it came in, the thresholds and what you have to evidence differ by country, and in the United Kingdom each of the four nations runs its own regime. Many answer with one more bin and one more lorry. We would rather treat the material where it is produced: a closed composter, on site.
A composter on its own is not enough. That is why we apply the method that made the group's name: a transparent quote based on your real volumes, a siting plan settled with you, a start-up you carry out yourself with our guidance on video, then bulking material supplied for as long as you need it. Behind every step there is someone you know by their first name.
And behind the equipment there is a workshop. Founded as Caeterra, the company became Easy to Compost when it joined the group, without changing workshop or team: 12 people, 4 years of R&D in mechanics and biology, 9 direct jobs, French suppliers for the steel, the paint and the seals. When a part has to be replaced, it comes from us.

Selling a composter takes an hour. Turning your food waste into a resource for years takes a great deal more. Here is what we actually do.

We measure instead of promising
Your volumes in kg per year determine everything: the number of composters, the amount of bulking material, the price. The calculation method is published, ratios included.

We settle where it goes, you start it up
Once you have confirmed, the location is settled with you. The composter is delivered on a pallet and you assemble it yourself, guided step by step on video.

We train your teams, not one designated person
Awareness sessions by video, posters, caddies: sorting becomes second nature. No technical skill is needed to empty a caddy.

And then we stay
Bulking material is resupplied, and you get figures you can use in your CSR reporting.

We do not just drop off a machine
A composter dropped off with nothing around it ends up as an abandoned vegetable bin. We never ship one without what makes it work: remote training, bulking material and follow-up. That is what makes the difference.
We do not hide how the price is built
79 € excl. VAT a month for the ABC composter, 129 € for the garden composter and, in France, 10 € per annual collection. The quote is done online, in 5 questions, and the assessment then adjusts it by amendment if your actual volumes differ.
We do not spread the compost on your car park
With the garden composter, it feeds the circular planter. Everywhere else, it leaves through the local final destination you have arranged: a farm, a green-waste platform, or your own grounds. Nothing piles up on your site.
We do not take on volumes outside our range
Beyond 3,000 kg a year, on-site composting is no longer the right answer. We say so, and we point you towards the right solution.
