Where we deliver

Wherever your sites are, delivered on a pallet

Designed and built in our Picardy workshop, at work right across Europe. Nothing to connect, no groundwork, no trade on site: two people set the composter down where you want it, and the training is done remotely. Collection of the compost is covered in France; elsewhere its removal is arranged with a local operator of your choice, and we help you scope the brief.

The usual pattern
  1. A different waste contractor in every country
  2. One contract, one price and one notice period per site
  3. Collection frequencies that vary from one site to the next
  4. As many receipts to gather as you have suppliers

For a group of twenty sites, that means twenty contacts, twenty invoices and no overall view when reporting time comes.

Collection is not part of what we supply: the removal of the mature compost is arranged with a local operator of your choice, and we help you scope the brief. What comes from us is the machine, to rent or to buy, the bulking material, the maintenance and the training.

  • 14 countriesBelgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark, Poland and the Czech Republic: we deliver to each of them, and to several at once for the same group.
  • One contractThe same price list and the same sorting protocol across every one of your sites.
Where they end up

More than five hundred composters in service, and fourteen countries served

Offices, campuses, shops, care homes, town halls: the machine is the same everywhere, only the finish changes.

Collection

No collection contract, and often none needed

We do not drive the lorries ourselves: in France we work with Les Alchimistes and Elise, who cover the whole country, and the compost taken from your site is sanitised and then spread on a farm less than 50 km away. That part of the offer exists in France only. Elsewhere, because the material has already composted on site, there is little left to move, and its removal is arranged with a local operator of your choice, we help you scope the brief.

What the rules ask of you, market by market

The United Kingdom sits outside the EU waste framework and runs four regimes: Simpler Recycling in England, the Waste (Scotland) Regulations 2012, Workplace Recycling in Wales and Northern Ireland's own rules. Ireland is in the EU and applies Article 22, which since 31 December 2023 has required food waste to be either collected separately or recycled at source. The composter recycles at source: the food waste is treated on the site that produces it and 65% of the mass leaves the stream. What little remains is taken away by a waste contractor you appoint, on the terms your own country sets.

  • Nothing to contract, in most cases. The compost stays on your own grounds instead of going into a lorry.
  • Little left to move. The material loses around 65% of its mass while it composts, so what does leave is a fraction of what came in.
  • A contractor of your own choosing, if you need one. You negotiate the price and the frequency directly, with no one in between.
  • A receipt for every removal. Dated, weighed, naming where it went. Ask your contractor for it and keep it on file.

Whatever leaves does so when it is ready, and there is not much of it

This is what sets it apart from an ordinary food waste collection: the material has already composted on site, it has lost volume and it no longer rots. Collections can be spaced far apart with no nuisance at all.

  • 52 collections a year without a composter. A handful of them with one.
  • One supplier fewer, not one more. The composter comes from us, to rent or to buy; we do not stand between you and the operator who takes the compost away.
Ordering from outside France

The machine travels, the collection stays yours

Wherever your sites are, it is the same composter, the same bulking material and the same remote training. What changes is the compost's way out: outside France, arranging it is yours to do.

The same composter, the same delivery, the same maintenance and the same bulking material supply. Collection of the mature compost is not included: you use it on site, or you arrange its removal with a local operator of your choice, we help you scope the brief.
